Participants

Youth Participants

If you are a young person ages 15-19, active in a Cumberland Presbyterian Church or a Presbyterian Church (USA) congregation we hope that you will take a few minutes to explore this Web site and then talk with your parents, guardians and then your assigned Triennium Presbytery Registrar. Who is this you ask?

The Presbyterian way of doing things is like this. Each Presbyterian church is a member of a group of churches, this group of churches is called A PRESBYTERY. Each presbytery is invited to send a specific number of youth and adult delegates to the Triennium.

If you are interested check out the registration & registrar area of this Web site to find out how you might apply to go. If you are a Cumberland Presbyterian you should speak with Reverend Frank Ward .

What you can expect at the Triennium?
  • LOTS of people. Anywhere from 5,000 – 7,000 participants! People wait in line for worship! It's that good!
  • An event created for youth. The presentations are exciting, colorful, fun. The small groups are designed so that you meet youth from all over the country and world. The language is youth friendly and so is the schedule!
  • A great college campus – Purdue University! View the Purdue University Campus Map
  • Time and space to deepen your faith, your passion for Jesus Christ and your commitment to the church!
Adult Participants

What an adult participant can expect at the Presbyterian Youth Triennium?
  • LOTS of people. Anywhere from 5,000 – 7,000 participants! People wait in line for worship! It's that good!
  • It's created for youth. The presentations are exciting, colorful, fun. The small groups are designed so that you meet youth from all over the country and world. The language is youth friendly and so is the schedule! Adults who serve as adult participants are there FOR THE YOUTH. They should expect to hear music that might not be played at a volume ADULTS always love. They should expect hours of sleep to be available that might not be what they are used to. They should expect to be the responsible adults for their youth delegates and others!
  • It's at a college campus – Purdue University! Adults are housed alongside their youth participants in Residence Halls with great food! Campus is big! Adults should expect to walk a minimum of 2-3 miles a day!
  • It's HOT! Most of the Residence Halls are not air-conditioned. But bring a fan and cool clothes and you'll be fine!
  • It's a great place to deepen your faith, your passion for Jesus Christ and your commitment to young people in the church. The sight of these amazing youth will inspire you! We guarantee it!
